Your story matters when it comes to your business and organic marketing because it is the heart and soul of your company. It is what makes you unique, and different and sets you apart from your competitors. When customers hear your story, they connect with you on a personal level and are more likely to do business with you. Here are three reasons why your story matters when it comes to your business and organic marketing:

1. A strong story conveys purpose.

Consumers are increasingly interested in supporting businesses with purpose. In fact, according to a study by Cone Communications, 91% of consumers say they would switch to a brand that is associated with a good cause. Telling your story and conveying your purpose is an essential part of building loyalty among your consumers. Telling your story gives your business an identity that can help you connect with potential customers on a personal level. When people feel like they know who you are and what you stand for, they’re more likely to support your business.

2. A compelling story makes you memorable.

In a sea of businesses, it can be difficult to make your company stand out. But a strong story can help you cut through the noise. When consumers hear a compelling story, they are more likely to remember your business and what you stand for. Your story can be a powerful marketing tool itself. Telling a compelling story about your business can generate interest and excitement, which can lead to more organic traffic and sales.

3. A human story builds trust.

In today’s digital world, it can be easy to feel disconnected from the businesses we interact with. Telling a human story helps to build trust and creates a sense of connection. When consumers feel like they know your business and what it stands for, they are more likely to support you. Sharing your story can help build trust and credibility with potential customers. If people feel like they know and understand your business, they’re more likely to believe in its products or services.

So, what’s your story? Why does your business matter? Why does your story matter when it comes to marketing your business organically? Because it can help you connect with potential customers, build trust and credibility, and generate interest in your business. When it comes to organic marketing, your story matters.

Organic marketing is a great way to share your story and connect with consumers. Take the time to craft a powerful story that will resonate with your audience, and you will be on your way to success. If you’re not sure where to start, try writing a blog post about your company’s purpose. Share your story and tell the world why your business matters.

Here is our story at the checklist group, written on behalf of our founder, Laura Ridley.

Hello, my name is Laura. Founder of The Checklist Group. TCG was founded in 2019 just before Covid broke out across Australia. Prior to launching TCG I worked for multiple different companies and studied at University, studying business management at University Technology Sydney.

I developed my skills in sales and operational management, however never really felt like I fitted in with any corporate organisation due to my eagerness to learn and get my hands dirty in every aspect of business. This caused many issues, as I never felt like I had WON or had the ability to make a difference. I felt restricted.

It wasnt till after my volunteer trip to SOUTH AFRICA, which I did all by myself, that I came to the realisation that I was unhappy and didnt want to go back to work. I developed clinical depression, quit my corporate job and just figured it out…trying to find out what drives me and my motivation.

I knew you was good at sales and getting shit done! I was a true hustler. However, I also knew that I wasnt the best manager, or had the best leadership skills to take on a large manager role within a bigger company. I was lost.

Furthermore, after trial and error on multiple business ideas, I saw a market for a sales and marketing solution within the fitness industry. It was the ultimate time to launch, as many studio businesses needed my help in getting sales due to their large decrease in sales and cancelling members.

I grew very fast. From 6 new clients, to managing 30 new accounts in just 6 weeks. I was forced to adapt, recruit and change my processes constantly. It was the most thrill seeker memory of business, and dear I say it, one of the most challenging situations.

Our service is a complete DONE FOR YOU solution. We do the sales, the marketing via paid advertisement, the funnel processes and the CRM automations/admin to require to nurture and close the deal.

3 years later, we are about to launch something even bigger, and expand to different industries as we saw the positive impact it had on businesses.

We helped small business owners save time, money and energy. We took away the job they leasted enjoyed and allowed them to focus on tasks outside of their business so they can give 100% to growth and retention within their company.
